INTERRA, Inc. Full-Time Field Technician Openings in Franklin, WI

INTERRA, Inc. is currently seeking full-time field technicians to perform Construction Materials Testing Services on WisDOT construction sites at our Franklin, WI office location. Responsibilities will consist of one or more of the following:

• Field observation and testing during concrete placements
• Sampling, inspection and testing of soils and aggregates
• Laboratory testing of concrete cylinders, aggregates and soils.

Qualified candidates must be detailed orientated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. This position requires basic computer aptitude and effective written and oral communication skills. Candidates must also have a high school diploma or equivalent; possess a valid driver’s license (with a good driving record) and the ability frequently lift heavy objects weighing greater than 50 pounds on a daily basis. Some weekend and overtime work may be required.

The ideal candidate would have one or more of the following HTCP (WisDOT) certifications: PCCTEC-I, AGGTEC-I, CST, Grading Tech and/or NucDensity but we are willing to train qualified individuals. At least 1 year of field experience with the State or on Private jobs with concrete & soils material testing is desired. A personal vehicle/truck that can carry a wheelbarrow and equipment onto a construction site is a plus.

Pre-employment drug screening is required along with random and post-incidence drug screening specific to each project site.
