BOLINGBROOK, IL – The Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association (IRTBA) has announced that INTERRA President Sanjeev Bandi has been invited to serve on the IRTBA Green Council Board of Directors.
In December 2017, INTERRA accepted the 2017 IRTBA Green Industry Achievement Award being recognized for the many green initiatives being done by the engineering firm.
The Chairman, IRTBA Green Council Board of Directors Aaron Ozinga extended the invitation adding that Bandi’s expertise and forward thinking would be a great addition to the Board.
Established in 2008, the IRTBA Green Council works to develop an environmental conscience while designing and building sustainable infrastructure. The objectives of the Council are to build awareness and education, to research technical aspects of projects, to define sustainability metric in construction within the transportation industry, and to form both public and private agency partnerships.
