  All materials testing from INTERRA accredited on-site laboratory

  Proctors, Atterberg Limits, Grain Size/Hydrometer, Percent Fines, Organic Content, Moisture Content (Oven/Microwave) completed on approximately 330 soil samples

Project Summary

Saint Bernard Levee Partners was tasked by the USACE to construct the approximately 8-mile long concrete T-wall levee from Bayou Dupre to Hwy 46 in Saint Bernard, LA.  INTERRA provided complete construction materials testing and inspection for soils, concrete, asphalt and steel.  To accomplish this high-profile, fast-tracked project within the necessarily aggressive schedule, INTERRA established an on-site laboratory and had it successfully accredited by the USACE in matter of weeks.  The on-site laboratory not only maintained required quality standards over the course of the project, but was able to accurately process and document a dramatically large number of widely varied tests.
