INTERRA has completed a large number of subsurface explorations for a wide variety of project types including; roadways, residential and commercial buildings, Army Corps of Engineer flood control projects, and Naval training facilities. Exploration services have been conducted for new construction, expansion of existing facilities, and failure investigations. A key component of INTERRA’s geotechnical expertise is derived from its staff, including two Ph.Ds and several engineers with Masters in Civil/Geotechnical engineering.
INTERRA’s state-of-the-art, 13,000 square foot office and laboratory performs advanced analysis procedures including; triaxial, consolidation, direct shear, and flexwall hydraulic conductivity testing. INTERRA’s laboratories are accredited by the Army Corps of Engineers, AASHTO and IDOT. The following is a partial list of geotechnical projects that INTERRA has completed.
