Construction Inspector (entry to senior level)


Construction observation and inspection of field operations and documentation of transportation projects such as roads, traffic signals, bridges, and underground utilities

Issue resolution and client contact assistance along with contractor coordination throughout the construction process

Assistance with field operations for geotech/environmental/soils/surveying


Willingness to assist with and learn multiple aspects services lines relating to engineering, geotech/soils, and inspection 

IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities certification is preferred

Preferred but not required educational background in field related to Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Construction Management

Strong verbal/written communication skills

Must have valid drivers’ license and willingness to work longer hours as construction scheduling requires


Administrative Assistant


Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls

Receive and direct visitors and clients

General clerical duties including data entry, photocopying, fax and mailing

Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system

Retrieve documents from filing system

Handle requests for information and data

Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails

Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence

Maintain office supply inventories

Coordinate maintenance of office equipment

Coordinate and maintain records for staff, telephones


Proven work experience as an Administrative Officer, Administrator or similar role

Solid knowledge of office procedures

Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)

Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail

High school diploma; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
