For this U.S. Navy project INTERRA performed testing and inspection services for the construction of P714 Unaccompanied Housing. This 166,000 square-foot multi-story structure was constructed for enlisted military personnel. INTERRA conducted geotechnical studies which included soil boring, in-situ testing, and laboratory analysis of soil samples collected. INTERRA also prepared a Geotechnical Report which provided foundation and pavement design recommendations. Additional recommendations were made for foundations, slab-on-grade, and parking area pavement. Soil borings were drilled and pressuremeter testing was performed in the required boreholes. All work completed was in accordance with the U.S. Navy standards and associated references.
