This IDOT project (60P42, 60R30, 60R31, 60I31) involved total reconstruction of the interchange. This became the first Diamond Interchange in Illinois. INTERRA performed Quality Assurance testing and inspection of materials for Portland cement concrete (PCC), hot mix asphalt (HMA), and soil. INTERRA reported to client and performed plant and field inspections on asphalt and concrete. Other services provided included density testing on soil and aggregates in addition to proof roll and Static Cone Penetrometer (SCP) testing.
