INTERRA has been named the USMCA 2018 Minority Engineering Firm of the Year, marking the first time INTERRA has been recognized by the USMCA and with such an award.

INTERRA President, Sanjeev Bandi accepted the honor on the firm’s behalf. The announcement was made at the 27th USMCA Millennium Builders Awards Ceremony with more than 270 people in attendance. The event honored several distinguished guests including 10 students named as STEM Education Scholarship award recipients.

INTERRA and the firm’s internal accomplishments have been recognized recently with awards including the 2017 IRTBA Green Industry Achievement Award and the 2018 Illinois Sustainability Award, the nation’s longest-running state award for excellence in environmental performance.

INTERRA has worked to provide support to children in need of opportunity and stability, enabling the next generation to get interested in STEM education through the USMCA. INTERRA has also been an advocate for green initiatives in the engineering and construction industry.
